ABC Hostel description

This no-curfew hostel is located amid the richly cultural heritage areas of Arab Street, Kampong Glam and Bugis. Featuring a computer room, it offers a daily breakfast and complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout its premises.

Located about 1,300 feet from the Sultan Mosque, ABC Hostel is a 5-minute bus ride from Bugis and a 10-minute drive from Little India. Changi International Airport is a 25-minute taxi-ride away.

The dormitory rooms are air-conditioned offer reading lights and a lockable storage area under the bed. Common bathrooms come with hot and cold shower facilities.

Guests have access to ABC Hostel’s kitchenette, which comes with a microwave, toaster and large fridge. The launderette comes with both a washer and dryer. Ironing and hair drying facilities are also available.

What was the highlight of ABC Hostel
Not so good.
The staff is friendly.
I book 3 rooms for one night. We are a group of 8, 6 adults and 2 children age 6 and 11. In booking.com they say children age 6 and 11 are free. And I pay at location with credit card that I already submitted in booking.com. But the upon arrival I was asked to pay extra charges 30 dollars Singapore for the children plus 7% tax. And payment with credit card will be charged 5% extra. So from 220 dollar that booking.com informed me earlier fattened into 325 dollar in cash. It was a panicky situation since we didn't bring much cash. I don't know where the mishaps happened. Was it at booking.com or at the hotel. But one thing for sure it was a very disappointing check in I've ever had.

Good and cheap hostel!
The facility and hygiene was taken care well of, which makes the stay enjoyable and comfortable.
The male stuff in the reception counter was not so friendly, however it was ok overall.

Very spacious bathrooms
The staff didn't do what they told us for refund. Instead of refund for 4 days they only gave us for 2 days. Room is so small and inconvenient. Bed sheets not that clean. Something bites us

No sleep past 5 am hotel.
It was sufficient for stay. It was not dirty.
At 530am huge crowds of people everywhere talking loudly for hours. Could not use toilet or shower tried many times but to many people. Air con was extreme cold. Staff was rude and we used booking.com but abc had no more rooms after we booked online. Place was unorganized in front.
